A lot of Albuquerque housing stock — older adobe, territorial homes, casitas and converted garages — either never had ductwork or has a system that was never extended into an addition. Running new ducts into those spaces is often invasive and expensive.
A ductless mini-split solves it directly: an outdoor unit and one or more indoor heads, connected by a small line set through a three-inch penetration. Each head is its own zone with its own setpoint, which is exactly what a casita or a home office needs.

How many rooms can one system cover?
Multi-zone outdoor units commonly support two to five indoor heads, depending on capacity and layout.
Do mini-splits heat as well as cool?
Yes — most are heat pumps and heat efficiently through the majority of our winter.
Are they noisy?
Indoor heads are very quiet, typically quieter than a forced-air register. The outdoor unit is comparable to a small condenser.
Can you service a mini-split I already have?
Yes, including units installed by someone else.
