Whole-Home Repiping

Repiping Homes That Have
Outgrown Their Plumbing

Failing galvanised and polybutylene do not get better. When leaks become a pattern, repiping ends the cycle instead of chasing it.

When Patching Becomes the Expensive Option

Galvanised steel corrodes from the inside. Long before it leaks it is narrowing, which is why older Albuquerque homes so often have poor pressure and discoloured water first, and leaks later.

Polybutylene has its own history of failure at the fittings. In either case, once you are repairing leaks more than once a year, repiping usually costs less over any reasonable horizon than continuing to patch — and it stops the water damage that comes with each failure.

  • Planned, Not Improvised We map the runs and plan access before starting, which limits drywall damage.
  • Permitted and Inspected Repipes are permitted and inspected, which matters at resale.
  • Pressure Restored Modern pipe at full diameter fixes the pressure problem corrosion caused.

What We See

Consider Repiping If

These patterns point toward it.

  • Rusty or Discoloured Water

Corroding galvanised shedding material into your supply.

  • Poor Pressure Everywhere

Not one fixture but the whole house, which indicates narrowed supply lines.

  • Repeated Leaks

More than one leak a year on the same system is a pattern, not bad luck.

  • Polybutylene Pipe

Known fitting failures make it worth planning a replacement rather than waiting.

What We Do

What a Repipe Involves

A defined project with a clear sequence.

  • Survey and Plan Runs mapped, access points planned, and the schedule agreed before we start.
  • New Supply Lines Modern PEX or copper installed, pressure-tested before anything is closed.
  • Inspection Permitted and inspected, with documentation for your records.
  • Patch and Finish Access openings patched and finished as part of the job.

How It Works

What to Expect

  1. Call or Book Online

Describe the problem. Same-day in most cases, and a licensed plumber answers 24/7.

  2. Find the Real Cause

We locate the source rather than treating the symptom, so the fix holds.

  3. Approve a Flat Price

Upfront flat-rate pricing you approve before we begin. Nothing added afterward.

  4. Fix It and Test It

Work completed to code, pressure-tested where required, and the area left clean.

Drake came to our house after we experienced a leak from our upstairs bathroom. He patiently heard my concerns and very professionally handled the situation. He explained everything clearly so I knew exactly what he was doing and he made sure it all made sense. His experience was invaluable and he definitely knows what he is doing! If I ever have to go through anything like this again, I will request Drake by name!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a repipe take?

Most homes are two to four days depending on size, layout and access.

Will I be without water?

Only for parts of each working day. We stage the work so the house is usable overnight.

PEX or copper?

Both are good. PEX is faster to install, more freeze-tolerant and less expensive; copper is traditional and very durable. We will explain the trade-offs for your house.

Do you patch the drywall?

Yes — access openings are patched and finished as part of the job.
