Frequently Asked Questions
Will a smart thermostat lower my bills?
It can, but only if it is configured for your equipment and schedule. A badly set smart thermostat often costs more than the basic one it replaced.
Do I need a C-wire?
Most smart thermostats do. If your wiring does not have one we can usually run it or fit an adapter — we check before recommending a model.
Can you set up a thermostat I already bought?
Yes. We install and configure customer-supplied thermostats regularly.
Will one thermostat fix uneven temperatures between rooms?
Usually not on its own — that is normally an airflow, duct or zoning issue. We will tell you which rather than selling you a control that cannot fix it.
