Yes. During HVAC service and installation assessments we identify the insulation and air-sealing problems that show up as system performance issues — thin or settled attic insulation, gaps around penetrations, leaking or uninsulated ductwork, and uninsulated crawlspaces and walls.

What We Look For

  • Attic insulation depth. Blown-in insulation settles over the years, and a great deal of Albuquerque’s housing stock predates meaningful standards. Measuring actual depth against current recommendations is the fastest way to size the opportunity.
  • Air-sealing gaps. Can lights, plumbing and wiring penetrations, top plates, and attic hatches. These matter more than R-value and are cheaper to fix.
  • Duct leakage and disconnects. A duct leaking into a 130-degree attic wastes conditioned air outright. Return-side leaks pull attic dust into your supply air.
  • Uninsulated ductwork running through unconditioned space, absorbing heat along the entire run.
