NATE Certification
North American Technician Excellence certification is earned by passing exams on real-world diagnostic, installation, and service knowledge — not by attending a seminar. Technicians test in specific specialties such as air conditioning, gas heating, heat pumps, and air distribution, and certification must be maintained through continuing education. It is the closest thing the trade has to a board certification, and it is a meaningful filter: a NATE-certified technician has demonstrated they can diagnose a system rather than swap parts until something works.
Licensed Plumbers
Our plumbing side is licensed in New Mexico, with certified testers for backflow prevention work. Licensing matters most on gas lines and water heater venting, where an unqualified installation creates genuine safety risk rather than just a workmanship problem.
